Winter has definitely become my favorite time of the year! I just love everything about it, the coziness, the fashion and oh the snow. It has recently been snowing here and although it didn't last very long, I got really excited seeing the white carpet all over the streets and the trees and snowflakes falling down on the tip of my tongue. So today I am back at it again with another tag where I will be telling you all about my love for winter! So, let's get answerin'!

Hey guys, how have you been? How's 2017 treating you? Are you keeping up with your resolutions or have you failed some of them already? It's totally okay if you have failed one or two because sometimes it is not easy to stick to everything you set your mind to, for example if your resolution was to eat healthy and on the second day you get a major chocolate craving, it's totally fine to eat that cake (that's what I told myself anyway)! It is only important not to give up, so this post is all about why goals and New Year's resolutions are important.

First of all setting goals shouldn't be something that stresses you out or gives you anxiety. You should set yourself a few smaller goals and resolutions which you are sure to accomplish and maybe one or two bigger ones which you'll have to work hard on.

For example, if your aim is to exercise more frequently, schedule two or three days of the week at the gym, instead of seven, that way it will be easier to adjust, Also, if you plan on eating healthy, try replacing a dessert with something else you enjoy like fruit or yogurt and work your way up on the more healthy ingredients.

Setting goals is really important because that way you have something ahead of you to work hard on and look forward to. I like writing them down in my planner or a piece of paper and set it somewhere visible so I can see them every day and be reminded of them. If you do not set resolutions then you'll most likely feel like you have not accomplished much this year. But if you set them, write them down and IF and WHEN you finally meet them, you can feel proud and excited for yourself.

'' The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score ''- Bill Copeland. As this quote puts it across very clearly if you don't have a goal in life, you are spending your life running around and not achieving anything for yourself. Setting your goals gives you clarity on what you ultimately want.

I feel like 2016 has whizzed away, I can't believe it is actually 2-0-1-7, like what? I sound like an old lady, but time really is passing by so quickly and we have to make the most of it. 2016 has been a really good year for me, although a lot of really sad things have happened in the world, I always say we have to look on the bright side and hope for the best. This year I celebrated my 18th birthday, started my senior year of high school and learned to drive (which is still quite a big deal for me), so you would say I kind of ''grew up''. But no way, I still feel as a child at heart and I think I'll always feel like that no matter what my age number says. Also, another quite an important thing has happened this year: I started this blog!

I have been blogging since June of this year and it has been so fun! One of the best decisions I made in summer and even though I couldn't quite keep it up in the later months as much as I wanted I still enjoyed it so much. Blogging is quite hard work and who ever says otherwise is fooling themselves. I am really proud of myself and of this amazing community of bloggers who work so hard and do such a wonderful job. So in 2017 I plan to put the blogging game on a higher level and make lots more great posts for you guys to enjoy. Also, a huge thank you for so many lovely comments and for following and keeping up with me since the beginning.

A few of my other resolutions are to travel more this year, stay hydrated, hopefully lose a bit of weight and eat more healthy and also finish high school and get into a good college! 2017 is quite a big year for me, a year of growing up and maturing, so hopefully it will be amazing.

To you guys, I wish the happiest New year and I hope you achieve all your goals which you have set for yourself and remember to enjoy the year to the fullest! So goodbye 2016 and hello 2017, hope you are the best one yet!! Until next time, love M xx
