September, Sunshine & Senior Year

8:56:00 AM

Hello everyone and happy September!

As we were mourning the end of summer and holding onto these last few hot and sunny days, September and the fall season has slowly crept up on us. I have always dreaded September, because it meant it's time for new school year and new responsibilities such as getting up early and studying all day when all I'd want to do is just sit around all day doing nothing. But as I've gotten older, I've started loving the fall season and September has become one of my favorite months, because it is still sunny outside, but you still get that crisp cold air in the morning, we start layering clothes a bit and that lovely feeling of fall can finally be felt. Also, fall has become one of my favorite times of the year, because can we all agree that fall fashion is just the best? I'll definitely be doing quite a few posts about my favorite fall staples! Also, hot chocolates are back which is my favorite drink of all time and I am already way too excited to start drinking them on a regular basis. I may have already had one, because it was just too tempting not to drink it!

Another thing I am looking forward this September is to start my senior year of high school. As you're reading this, it is my first day back! We start school on September 1, the same time as they do in the Harry Potter series, and for many years I have thought I would magically get a letter from Hogwarts and get to go there. Sadly that never happened, but oh well. All jokes aside, I am really excited about starting this year and making the most of it! If you want to know more about my (so far) high school experience you can read my How To Survive High School post, where I tell you all about how I've ''survived'' high school. What would your best tips be for getting through the senior year?

Also, the bestest thing about fall is that all of our favorite TV shows go back on air! I've just watched the PLL season finale and I was in awe, definitely one of their best summer finales. So much happened and if was left wondering, how can they top this? If you've watched it, please let me know what you thought of it and how sad are you that now we have to wait until April of 2017 for it to come back? However, I won't be mourning the loss of PLL time for long, because lots of my faves come back from the summer hiatus. I am really looking forward to Once Upon A Time and the season 2 of Scream Queens. Also, it is the start of The Vampire Diaries series finale this fall as well, so that will be very exciting! Are you looking forward to any TV shows coming back and which ones are your favorites?

Sunshine, beach days laying on the sun lounger and eating ice cream all day will soon be long behind us, but that doesn't mean that we can't make the most of fall. So, let's say goodbye to summer, and hello to hot chocolate, sweaters, crisp air, cozy weather, pretty colors and all things fall has to offer!

I hope you have enjoyed this chatty post and let me know what you are most looking forward to in the fall season? Lots of love, M x

  17. To me, September really meant that it's time for new beginnings and a fresh start. A chance to start over again. That may appear as weird as it's basically more than halfway through 2016. Besides September, I'm melancholy for PLL's next release next year. However, I am certainly looking forward to going through episodes of good-old Teem Wolf, season 5 of TNS and of course Dance Moms (as well as get a whole lot of studying done).
